ZAWES GT1 Electric Dirt Bike
The ZAWES GT1 Electric Dirt Bike is a high-performance electric off-road bike designed for teenagers and adults who want an exciting combination of power, range, and rugged dirt-bike styling. Built around a durable iron frame and equipped with a powerful mid-mounted motor, the GT1 is designed to handle a variety of riding conditions while delivering responsive performance. Its automotive-grade baked paint finish provides added resistance against impacts and scratches, making it suitable for demanding recreational use.
At the heart of the ZAWES GT1 is a 60V 28Ah NMC battery paired with a permanent magnet synchronous mid-drive motor. The motor is rated at 2000W, with a peak power output of 5400W, a maximum speed of 5000 rpm, and maximum motor torque of 32 Nm. The bike also features a removable battery, allowing the battery to be taken out for convenient charging.
The GT1 offers a claimed riding range of 50–60 km, with the maximum range of up to 60 km achievable at 25 km/h. Its three-gear system provides different riding characteristics. In first gear, the bike can reach 30 km/h with a range of 50–60 km. Second gear reaches up to 50 km/h, with an estimated range of 35–50 km. In third gear, the bike can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h, with a range of 25–35 km. The specification sheet also lists 280 N·m wheel torque.
For control and stability, the ZAWES GT1 comes equipped with front and rear suspension. The front suspension is rated at 630 mm and 130 lbs, while the rear suspension is rated at 260 mm and 750 lbs. Braking is handled by DOT4 hydraulic brakes, with a stated braking distance of 6 metres. The bike uses a 14-inch front tyre (60/100-14) and a 12-inch rear tyre (80/100-12), along with plastic fenders.
The bike has a 770 mm seat height and is recommended for riders between 140 and 180 cm tall. Its maximum climbing angle is listed as 35°, while an IPX4 waterproof rating provides protection against water splashes. The GT1 features an LCD display and is not foldable.
Measuring 1530 × 720 × 960 mm, the ZAWES GT1 has a net weight of 57.5 kg, a gross weight of 63.5 kg, and supports a maximum load of 160 kg. It includes a charger, installation tools, and instruction manual. The supplied charger is 67.2V 3A, with a stated charging time of approximately 9 hours.
